The Punctual Pug Blog
Phew! The week on the east coast was wild! I got home on Saturday after several delays and over twelve hours later. This mummy pug was knackered. After about 48 hours of sleep, here I am back with you! After meeting the Punctual Pug team in Charlotte, the latter half of the trip was in…
Okaaaaaay, from Oregon to home to the east coast. Today was humid, stormy, thick with heavy clouds; just how I remember the east coast during the summer. It’s a little like walking through a curtain of water every time a door opens to the outdoors… I’m in South and North Carolina this week to spend…
Storms tore through last night and broke the heat and drove away the wildfire smoke. I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a restored Oregon. Cool breezes and a gentle sun graced The Hood. Lois is saying good morning to the room and I’m looking forward to the next couple days here. A lot…
It is so hot and so humid and so smoky…Oregon is on fire just like Utah. Too hot for pugs around here…and also for me! However, truth is, Oregon is always good for me. We’re in Hood River for the ORA Conference which we are very happy to be able to sponsor! The pugs have…
Busy this week! Demos in Washington, New York, Alaska, and a conference in Idaho! I’m in Coeur D’Alene which is in northern Idaho not far from the Canadian border. IACP is a cool group that is going through quite a time with budgets, rules–all the things so many states are going through–and still mantaining their…

(And our other friends in Oregon are right behind them at number two in the nation…
I headed to The Black Hills to meet with Laura, Janny, and their team at NHTC. I also did a presentation for CSPofSD from NHTC’s conference room that they were kind enough to let me take over. It was super to meet everyone in person and they were very kind and complimentary about the pugs!…
The first part of the drive across South Dakota was as you’d expect: vast, endless horizons, miles and miles and miles of quiet. There is something special about it. Heidi was right. As soon as you cross the Missouri River, it begins to change with small hills and scrubby pine trees, and eventually The Badlands…
Their Longfellow Center is a renovated elementary school! The pugs are loose in South Dakota on both sides of the state, covering all the time zones! I spent Monday in Sioux Falls where Heidi showed me the extraordinary work that DakotAbilities is doing to support very medically complex people both during the day and at…
The pugs are busy! We reconvened our 90-Day meeting with users and the first one was great! Old pug users offered advice to the new pug users and made some nice mentoring connections. I’m still spouting all kinds of stuff from that meeting and others. (Training events…? Hmmmm….) Punctual Pug XL is being built. Design…
