New Friends!

The pugs and I are proud to have been asked to take part in and sponsor an event at Utah Tech Week!

Alyssa from Utah Advocacy Coalition asked if we would and so we did. I can't make it but Eddie from TURN Community Services was kind enough to step in and offer to sing the songs of Punctual Pug in my stead. (You all need friends like that!)

I just met with Alyssa and she is passionate about fixing the world and making the disability community front and center when it comes to decision-making and funding for services. She wants to create a coalition (she did, in fact, already do this with founding Utah Advocacy Coalition...fancy that!) of providers, families, businesses, community groups, and people with disabilities, to join together and force change. We are happy to be in the mix and support them however we can, as we try and do with all of our partnering provider associations.

We bark pretty loud these days!
