Fresh Out of the Oven
Things are popping over here! Yesterday was wild! In fact, the day before was wild, too! We added another provider in Alaska on Monday! On Tuesday, we popped the first version of Person-Centered Scheduling (PCS) out of the oven! PCS allows you to create not only a staff schedule but a calendar for the person supported and both can be viewed side by side to make scheduling easier. (That's just the start. We have plans...)
For supported living, employment services--any community-based individualized services, really--this will be a cool, handy thing. We know it isn't perfect (YET) but wanted to get it out there for people to begin using so we'd benefit from the feedback of our brainiac Grumblers! Find me if you want a look!
I spent all of yesterday afternoon training supervisors from TURN Community Services in Utah. Talk about brainiacs! They had all the questions and ideas that I'm working my way through today! TURN took advantage of being part of The Golden Grumble so they got a discounted first year (and cool swag and training by me). You could be as cool as TURN, just saying...
The past few days feel like a milestone of sorts. It's been about 90 days since the first demonstration of this system. We had customers before we were even a "real" company! And now Punctual Pug has managed to be in four states. I think that is super cool!
